The Biebrza River, the right tributary of the Narew flows through a fairly wide valley, making up wild ponds. If anyone wants to see the largest swamps in Poland love nature, it must be said that this is a refuge for many rare bird birds (271 bird species have been cataloged here, including 180 nesting grounds). Biebrza seduces ornithologists from all over Europe, but not only the group that visits these wonderful ponds. Rafting along this river should bring nirvana enthusiasts of silence, wild areas, communion with nature and wonderful landscapes.
We have two options for kayaking or rafting. Even a person with little experience in kayaking in Biebrza is lazy, can slow down slowly and theoretically all attention can be focused on nature. Biebrza has many curves and curves between the reeds, or spills thanks to which we can see beautifully flowery meadows. Rafting also takes into account the time we will spend in kayaking or during a break. The journey can take several hours or several days depending on who likes what. Short trips start in Sztabin or under the bridge in Dolowców, long distance canoeists start from the road bridge on the Dąbrowa Białostocka - Leipzig route and the end of the rafting route runs from the mouth of the Biebrza to Narew. Along the way, it is worth getting off the kayak and visiting the Osowiec fortress, built by Russia in the late 19th century. This is not information because it is swampy areas that mosquito preparations need to be made.
