Spała and surroundings were fashionable and enjoyed a large number of visitors before World War II, at this point they are forgotten. However, it is still a very attractive holiday destination located in central Poland. The Spała area is an ideal place for active rest and recreation, as well as for holidays for families with children. There are many bicycle routes in the Spała Forests, where royal hunting took place once.
One-wheeler can go to Rzeczyca, where between the eighteenth and nineteenth century the priest was the memoirist Jędrzej Kitowicz. In Inowlodz, the Romanesque church of St. Idzi's another place to visit is Czerniowice, where there is a beautiful wooden church. The next point to visit are the huge German bunkers from World War II in Konewka with a 200-year-old forest. An interesting option for bicycles are kayaks. Rafting on the Pilica River does not require much skill and children over 10 years old should be able to cope with no problem.
